Rottweiler is a dog breed that originates in Germany with powerful body. It has a broad head, rounded forehead, with triangular ears and wide black nose. Its coat is black, medium length, water-proof undercoat usually with brown markings.

These days, Rottweiler are used as guard and police dogs. Naturally, this breed is intelligent, calm, protective and confident. When properly trained, Rottweiler can be a reliable and loving companion. Likewise, a good playmate for children when consistently trained.

Furthermore, the breed is easy to take care. Loose and dead hair can be removed with the use of firm bristle brush. There are also special lotions available to make the coat shiny. Again, claws should be short and ear passages should be cleaned. Plus, bathe only when necessary. Most importantly, the breed needs constant exercise such as daily walk, running or swimming.
